Panasonic's refined black-level adjustment solves one of the most persistent challenges in multi-projection: achieving uniform black levels across curved screens. Up to 17 control points allow precise reshaping of black borders to fit arbitrary screen geometries without distortion. Black levels can be set within a half-pixel margin, ensuring seamless blends even at close viewing distances. Gradation Smoother further eliminates color banding in shaded gradients — a crucial safety net when there is no time to re-edit source content before the show.

The REZ15 Series delivers up to 15,000 lumens of full brightness on standard AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage circuits. This significantly reduces installation time, cost, and infrastructure complexity — a major advantage for touring productions and fixed installations alike. The high-efficiency liquid cooling system keeps operating noise as low as 32 dB, so the audience stays focused on the experience rather than the equipment.

The REZ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven lenses — fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom — covering throw ratios from 0.308:1 to suit spaces of any size. The new lenses improve native contrast, reduce flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous generations. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are standard, and powered periphery focus adjustment is now supported via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app for the first time.

The optical engine and laser light source of the REZ15 Series conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a filter and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability has been validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under conditions more demanding than those used by many competing products. The Multi Laser Drive Engine adds a further layer of resilience: if a single diode fails, Failover Circuitry keeps remaining diodes operational, minimizing any brightness loss.

Two identical signals can be routed simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary input is interrupted, the REZ15 Series switches to the backup automatically in as little as 0.3 seconds — with no screen blanking. This seamless failover is essential for live events, exhibitions, and installations where even a momentary loss of image is unacceptable. The Remote Preview LITE feature further reduces risk by allowing projectionists to verify content and check adjustments via thumbnail previews on a laptop before projection begins.

The REZ15 Series is designed to save time at every stage of installation and event preparation. NFC function lets you configure projector settings — including Projector ID and IP address — using the Smart Projector Control app on your phone, even before AC power is available at the venue. The series ships with preactivated licenses for the ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro and ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment upgrade kits, which together automate edge-blending, brightness, color, and black-level calibration via camera. Custom test patterns, start-up logos, and screensavers can also be registered directly to the projector.
