Rich Color Enhancer is Panasonic's original two-mode color optimization technology. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color saturation for clear, vivid visibility in brightly lit environments. Standard Mode expands red-channel output to deliver vibrant, true-to-life reds — critical for accurate reproduction of artwork, exhibitions, and any color-rich content where fidelity is non-negotiable. Together, these modes ensure your visuals look their best regardless of ambient conditions.

Panasonic addresses black-level uniformity in blended areas on curved screens with flexible adjustment supporting up to 17 control points. These allow black borders to be reshaped for symmetrical fitting without distortion, and black levels can be set within a half-pixel margin for seamless blends even at close viewing range. Evolved black-level adjustment also eliminates unwanted bumps in blend areas outside the image display area after geometric correction, ensuring a truly seamless multi-screen image.

Color banding in shaded gradients can ruin an otherwise polished presentation, especially in content with limited color bit depth. Gradation Smoother actively reduces this banding with three selectable correction levels, adjustable via the projector remote. It can also be disabled when not needed. This feature is a genuine lifesaver at live events where there is no time to re-edit content — simply dial in the correction level and the problem disappears. Projectors ship with Gradation Smoother set to factory default level 2.

The REZ15 Series delivers full brightness up to 15,000 lm on standard AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage supplies. This saves time, cost, and resources during installation and setup. The high-efficiency liquid cooling system also reduces operating noise to as little as 32 dB in QUIET Mode, keeping audience attention firmly on the content rather than the hardware producing it.

The REZ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses covering throw ratios from 0.308:1, enabling immersive projection in spaces of virtually any size. The new lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are included, and for the first time, powered periphery focus adjustment is supported via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app.

The REZ15 Series optical engine and laser light source conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for filters and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability is validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under significantly harsher conditions than those used to test many competing products. The Multi Laser Drive Engine adds a further layer of resilience: if a single diode fails, Failover Circuitry continues supplying power to the remaining functional diodes, minimizing brightness loss and keeping your projection running.

Two identical signals can be sent simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary input is interrupted, the projector switches to backup automatically in as little as 0.3 seconds — with no screen blackout. For added peace of mind before a performance, Remote Preview LITE lets projectionists verify connectivity and assess image adjustments via preview thumbnails on a laptop, even while the shutter is closed or the projector is in Pre-Show Standby Mode. This makes it possible to catch and correct issues before they reach the audience.
