In accordance with OUG no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals and amending and supplementing certain legislative acts, Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce, republished, the 2002 Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce, and Emergency Ordinance no. 18/2026 amending and supplementing Law no. 363/2007 on combating unfair commercial practices of traders in their relations with consumers and harmonising the regulations with European consumer protection legislation, as well as Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals and amending and supplementing certain legislative acts
Under current legislation (OUG 34/2014, Art. 9), you have the right to withdraw from the distance sales contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the product, without having to provide any reason and without incurring any costs other than those provided by law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may use the standard withdrawal form below or submit any unequivocal statement expressing your decision to withdraw (pursuant to Art. 11 para. 1, OUG 34/2014).
Completed forms should be sent to the email address contact@backstage.ro or by post or courier to: Cernica Commune, Căldăraru Village, 1D Oxigenului Street, Ilfov County, postal code 077037, or they may be placed in the return parcel. The right of withdrawal may also be exercised directly on our website backstage-shop.ro, through the withdrawal function (“Withdraw from contract”), in accordance with OUG no. 18/2026.
The direct cost of returning the products is borne by the Consumer, given that this was communicated to you before the order was placed. The refund includes the initial standard delivery costs.
We will confirm receipt of your form on a durable medium (email), without delay, in accordance with Art. 11 para. 3 of OUG 34/2014, as soon as you access the “Confirm withdrawal” function.

Pursuant to Art. 16 of OUG 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. audio-video systems configured to order);
- Sealed products which cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which have been unsealed after delivery;
- Products which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items;
- Digital content supplied on a non-material medium, if execution has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and with acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
