Rich Color Enhancer is Panasonic's original two-mode color optimization technology. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color reproduction for clear, vivid images in brightly lit environments. Standard Mode expands red-channel output to deliver more vibrant, accurate reds — essential for the faithful reproduction of artwork, exhibitions, and any content where color accuracy drives the audience experience. Both modes ensure colors are compelling without sacrificing realism.

Panasonic addresses one of the toughest challenges in multi-projection: maintaining uniform black levels across blended areas on curved screens. Up to 17 control points allow installers to reshape black borders to fit arbitrary screen shapes with symmetrical precision and no distortion. Black levels can be set within a half-pixel margin, ensuring seamless blends even at close viewing distance. Evolved black-level adjustment also eliminates the unwanted bumps that can appear outside the image display area after geometric correction — delivering a truly seamless multi-screen image.

Color banding in shaded gradients — a common artifact when source content lacks sufficient color bit depth — can ruin an otherwise perfect projection. Gradation Smoother gives operators three correction levels to choose from via the projector remote, or the option to disable it entirely when not needed. It's a practical safety net for live events and installations where there's no time to re-edit source material. Units ship with Gradation Smoother set to factory default level 2, ready for immediate use.

The REZ15 Series delivers up to 15,000 lumens of full brightness on standard AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage supply. This saves significant time, cost, and resources during installation and touring. The compact, lightweight body further reduces logistics complexity — two people can carry and install each unit — while the high-efficiency liquid cooling system keeps operating noise as low as 32 dB, so audiences remain immersed in the experience rather than distracted by the equipment.

The REZ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses, including options with throw ratios starting from 0.308:1 — making immersive projection possible in spaces of virtually any size. The new lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are included as standard. For the first time, powered periphery focus adjustment is supported via remote control or the free Smart Projector Control app.

The REZ15 Series optical engine and laser light source conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a filter and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability is validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under conditions significantly harsher than those used to test some competing products. A refined liquid cooling system supports this longevity, while the Multi Laser Drive Engine's Failover Circuitry ensures that if a single diode fails, surrounding diodes continue operating — minimizing any loss of brightness.

For events where image display cannot be interrupted, REZ15 Series supports simultaneous transmission to a primary and a backup HDMI input. If the primary signal is lost, the projector switches to the backup in as little as 0.3 seconds with no screen blanking. Beyond this, the series includes NFC function for configuring projectors before AC power is available on site, the Smart Projector Control app for adjusting up to 64 projectors from a phone or tablet, Remote Preview LITE for confirming image adjustments without projecting to the screen, and preactivated Geo Pro upgrade kits for advanced geometric correction and automated edge-blending calibration.
