Rich Color Enhancer is Panasonic's original two-mode color optimization technology, designed to deliver accurate, vibrant color regardless of the viewing environment. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color reproduction for clear visibility in well-lit spaces, while Standard Mode expands red-channel output to bring out vivid reds — critical for artwork, exhibitions, and any content where color fidelity drives the experience. Both modes ensure that what audiences see on screen matches the creative intent of the content.

Panasonic addresses black-level uniformity in blended areas on curved screens with a flexible adjustment system supporting up to 17 control points. This allows installers to reshape black borders to match arbitrary screen shapes without distortion, with black levels settable within a half-pixel margin for seamless blends even at close viewing distances. Evolved black-level adjustment also eliminates unwanted black-level bumps in geometric adjustment zones outside the image display area, ensuring a truly seamless multi-screen image across the entire blend.

Color banding in shaded gradients is a common problem when source content lacks sufficient color bit depth, and re-editing files on-site is rarely an option. Gradation Smoother addresses this directly, offering three correction levels selectable via the projector remote so installers can dial in the right amount of correction for the severity of the banding. It can also be disabled entirely when not needed. The REZ15 Series ships with Gradation Smoother set to factory default level 2, providing immediate relief in most banding scenarios without requiring manual adjustment.

The REZ15 Series optical engine and laser light source conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a dust filter and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability is validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under significantly harsher conditions than those used for many competing products. A refined liquid cooling system keeps the unit running quietly — as low as 32 dB in QUIET Mode — so audiences hear the content, not the projector.

Two layers of built-in redundancy protect against interruptions during critical events. Backup Input allows identical signals to be fed simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary signal is lost, the projector switches to the backup in as little as 0.3 seconds with no screen blanking. Independently, Multi Laser Drive Engine equips multiple laser modules with Failover Circuitry so that if a single diode fails, the remaining diodes in the module continue to operate, minimizing any brightness loss rather than shutting down the entire module.

The REZ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses — including throw ratios starting from 0.308:1 — making it possible to deliver immersive projections in spaces of any size and configuration. The new lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory, Auto Lens Identification, and powered periphery focus adjustment via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app are all supported, streamlining setup significantly.

The REZ15 Series is designed to eliminate delays at every stage of setup. The NFC function lets you configure projector settings — including Projector ID and IP address — using the Smart Projector Control app on your phone, even before AC power is available on site. Remote Preview LITE allows projectionists to verify connectivity and review image adjustments via preview thumbnails on a laptop, with the shutter closed or the projector in standby, making it ideal for live events where checking the screen between soundchecks isn't possible. Preactivated Geo Pro upgrade kits include the ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro and the ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment kit, automating edge-blending calibration via camera.
