Panasonic solves black-level uniformity on curved screens with up to 17 control points that reshape black borders to fit arbitrary screen shapes without distortion. Black levels can be set within a half-pixel margin for seamless blends even at close viewing range. Evolved black-level adjustment also eliminates unwanted bumps in blend areas outside the image display zone after geometric correction — achieved by unlinking black-level and geometric adjustments so settings apply across the entire blended area.

Gradation Smoother corrects color banding in shaded gradients — a common issue when content lacks sufficient color bit depth. Three correction levels can be selected via the projector remote depending on banding severity, or the feature can be disabled entirely when not needed. This is especially valuable at live events where there is no time to re-edit source content; the projector itself handles the correction on the fly. Units ship with Gradation Smoother set to factory default level 2.

The REZ15 Series delivers up to 15,000 lumens on standard AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage supply. This saves time, cost, and resources during installation and reduces the overall carbon footprint of the deployment. The high-efficiency liquid cooling system keeps operating noise as low as 32 dB in Quiet Mode, ensuring the audience remains immersed in the experience rather than distracted by the projector.

The REZ15 Series is compatible with new optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses covering throw ratios from 0.308:1. These lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are built in, and powered periphery focus adjustment — a first for this platform — is now controllable via remote or the Smart Projector Control app. Compatible with C1 Series lenses only.

The optical engine and laser light source of the REZ15 Series conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a filter and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability is validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under significantly harsher conditions than those used for comparable competitive products. A refined liquid cooling system supports the extended operational life, reducing total cost of ownership for permanent installations and touring rigs alike.

Two identical signals can be fed simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary input is interrupted, the projector switches to backup in as little as 0.3 seconds with no screen blanking — critical insurance at live events where display continuity is non-negotiable. Additionally, Multi Laser Drive Engine equips each laser module with Failover Circuitry: if a single diode fails, electricity continues to flow to the remaining functional diodes, minimizing brightness loss rather than shutting down the entire module.

NFC function lets you configure projector settings — including Projector ID and IP address — directly from your phone via the Smart Projector Control app, even before AC power is available on site. Preactivated Geo Pro upgrade kits include the ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro Software for advanced masking and the ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment kit for camera-automated edge blending. Remote Preview LITE lets projectionists check connectivity and image adjustments via thumbnail previews on a laptop while the shutter is closed — ideal during soundchecks or in bright ambient light.
