Rich Color Enhancer is a two-mode color optimization technology developed by Panasonic. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color for clear visibility in bright environments. Standard Mode expands red-channel output to deliver vibrant, accurate reds — essential for the faithful and immersive reproduction of artwork, exhibitions, and other color-rich content.

Black-level uniformity in blended areas on curved screens is a persistent challenge for multi-projection setups. The REZ15 Series addresses this with up to 17 adjustable control points that reshape black borders for symmetrical fitting without distortion. Black levels can be set within a half-pixel margin for truly seamless blends, even at close viewing distances. Gradation Smoother further reduces color banding in shaded gradients — selectable at three correction levels via remote — making it a critical on-site tool when there is no time to re-edit source content.

The REZ15 Series delivers up to 15,000 lm on AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage supply. This saves time, cost, and resources during installation and load-in, making the projector equally at home in permanent installations and touring productions. Its compact, lightweight body can be carried and installed by two people, simplifying multi-projection logistics and reducing transport costs.

REZ15 Series is compatible with new optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses covering throw ratios from 0.308:1. The new lenses deliver improved native contrast, reduced flare and color blur, and a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are included, and for the first time, powered periphery focus adjustment is supported via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app — giving installers greater precision without physical access to the projector.

The REZ15 Series optical engine and laser light source conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a dust filter and enabling up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. This is verified through accelerated dust-chamber testing under significantly harsher conditions than many competing products. The high-efficiency liquid cooling system keeps operating noise as low as 32 dB, ensuring audiences remain focused on the experience.

Two identical signals can be sent simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary input is interrupted, the projector switches to backup automatically in as little as 0.3 seconds — without any screen blanking. Additionally, the Multi Laser Drive Engine equips each laser module with Failover Circuitry: if a single diode fails, the remaining diodes in the series continue to operate, minimizing brightness loss and preventing a total module shutdown.

REZ15 Series includes a suite of tools that accelerate setup and minimize on-site errors. The NFC function lets you configure Projector ID, IP address, and other settings from your phone before AC power is available on site. Custom test patterns, logos, and screensavers can be registered directly to the projector. Preactivated Geo Pro upgrade kits include Geometry Manager Pro for advanced warping and masking, plus Auto Screen Adjustment for automated edge-blending calibration. Remote Preview LITE lets projectionists verify connectivity and image adjustments via thumbnail preview on a laptop — with the shutter closed or in Standby — before going live.
