Smart Projector Control is a free remote app for iOS and Android devices that manages up to 64 projectors individually or simultaneously over a wireless network. Connect a projector to the network simply by scanning a QR Code displayed on its Information Monitor — no manual SSID or password entry required. Once connected, switch units on or off, select input signals, and adjust OSD menu settings via touchscreen, even while projectors are in standby. The app also handles lens adjustments, test-pattern selection, and remote focus using your phone camera from up to 30 m away, allowing installers to set up an entire fleet while other event infrastructure is being assembled.

PT-RQ35K2 Series projectors can be paired with a smartphone via NFC even when the projector is completely unplugged. Simply touch your device to the NFC touchpoint to adjust settings such as Projector ID and IP address using the Smart Projector Control app — before a single power cable is connected. Entire fleets can be preconfigured so they are ready for immediate network connection the moment power is available on site. After an event, projectors can also be reset to factory defaults while still unplugged, eliminating the need to project the OSD menu for that step.

Optional upgrade kits for Geometry Manager Pro software on PT-RQ35K2 Series projectors come pre-activated — no license keys required. Beyond bitmap masking, the software automatically and simultaneously calibrates edge-blends across multiple projectors using an external camera, a task that would otherwise demand manual brightness, color, and black-level calibration for each unit individually.
