Rich Color Enhancer is a 2-mode color optimization technology. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color for clear visibility in bright environments, while Standard Mode expands red-channel output for vibrant, accurate red expression — critical for the faithful reproduction of artwork and color-rich content. Complementing this, Evolved Dynamic Contrast features new scene analysis circuitry that accurately detects light and dark areas, achieving a 25,000:1 contrast ratio. The distinction between black, white, and contrasting tones becomes dramatically more pronounced, delivering the depth of image that immersive production demands.

The REQ15 Series delivers 2K/240 Hz projection with an input-to-output latency of just 6 ms, smoothly reproducing fast-moving objects and action sequences with minimal motion blur. High-speed content can be displayed across multiple screens with edge-blending enabled, making the series ideal for eSports events or any application requiring fluid motion and fast response. The projectors also support Panasonic's optional ET-SWR10 Real-Time Tracking Projection-Mapping SDK, which works with infrared cameras to project images onto fast-moving objects at 2K/240 Hz — enabling seamless fusion of digital and physical worlds in interactive XR attractions.

The REQ15 Series delivers its full 15,000 lm output on standard AC 100–240 V power, eliminating the need to rewire venues for high-voltage supplies. This significantly reduces installation time, cost, and resource consumption, making large-scale multi-projector deployments far more straightforward. Combined with a compact, lightweight body that two people can carry and install without specialized equipment, the series dramatically simplifies the logistics of complex projection setups — from museum installations to touring live events.

The optical engine and laser light-source module conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), while a high-efficiency liquid cooling system supports 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Operating noise is reduced to as low as 32 dB in Quiet Mode, keeping the audience immersed in the experience rather than distracted by the equipment. Multiple laser modules are also protected by Failover Circuitry: if a single diode fails, electricity continues flowing to the remaining functional diodes, minimizing any brightness loss and ensuring the show goes on.

The REQ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses with throw ratios starting from 0.308:1, covering spaces of any size. The new lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous designs. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are included as standard, and for the first time, powered periphery focus adjustment is supported via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app — enabling precise focus correction across the entire image without physical access to the projector.

Two identical signals can be transmitted simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If transmission to the primary input is interrupted, the projector switches to the backup automatically in a minimum of 0.3 seconds without any screen blanking — providing crucial insurance at live events where a blank screen is not an option. Additionally, Remote Preview LITE allows projectionists to verify connectivity and assess image adjustments via preview thumbnails on a laptop before any image reaches the screen, accessible via software or web browser with the projector in Standby or with the shutter closed.

The REQ15 Series includes built-in geometric adjustment tools with a point-based Free Grid function for correcting localized screen distortion, plus preactivated licenses for ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro and ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment software. A gyro sensor displays pitch and roll angles in the OSD, enabling solo 360° angle alignment without an assistant. The Smart Projector Control app manages up to 64 projectors from a phone or tablet, while the NFC function lets you configure projector settings — including Projector ID and IP address — before AC power is even available on site, dramatically reducing setup time at venues.
