Rich Color Enhancer offers two color optimization modes: Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color for clear visibility in bright environments, while Standard Mode expands red-channel output for vibrant, accurate color reproduction — essential for artwork and color-rich content. Complementing this, Evolved Dynamic Contrast features upgraded scene-analysis circuitry that detects light and dark areas with greater precision, delivering a 25,000:1 contrast ratio that makes blacks deeper and whites more luminous, with dramatic separation between contrasting tones.

The REQ15 Series plays 2K/240 Hz video with an input-to-output latency of just 6 ms, smoothly reproducing fast-moving objects and action sequences with minimal blur — ideal for eSports events and any application where fluid motion is critical. Multiple screens can share edge-blended high-speed content simultaneously. The series also supports Panasonic's optional ET-SWR10 Real-Time Tracking Projection-Mapping SDK, which pairs with infrared cameras to project onto fast-moving objects at 2K/240 Hz, seamlessly merging digital and analog worlds for interactive XR attractions.

The optical engine and laser light-source module of the REQ15 Series conform to the IP5X Dust Protected standard (IEC 60529), eliminating the need for a dust filter and enabling 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Reliability is validated through accelerated dust-chamber testing under conditions more demanding than those used by many competing products. A liquid cooling system keeps internal temperatures stable while reducing operating noise to as low as 32 dB, ensuring audiences remain fully immersed in the experience rather than distracted by equipment.

The REQ15 Series delivers full brightness up to 15,000 lm on AC 100–240 V power, removing the need to rewire venues for high-voltage infrastructure. This broadens the range of compatible locations and significantly reduces installation time, cost, and energy overhead. Combined with a compact, lightweight body that two people can carry and position with ease, the REQ15 Series streamlines even the most complex multi-projector logistics without sacrificing output performance.

The REQ15 Series is compatible with a new range of optional motor-driven fixed, zoom, and ultra-short-throw zoom lenses, covering throw ratios from 0.308:1 and accommodating immersive experiences in spaces of any size or shape. These lenses improve native contrast, minimize flare and color blur, and offer a wider lens shift range than previous generations. Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification are built in, and powered periphery focus adjustment — a first for this platform — can be controlled remotely via the Smart Projector Control app.

The REQ15 Series includes built-in geometric adjustment tools with a point-based Free Grid function to correct localized screen distortion. Preactivated licenses for the ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro Software Upgrade Kit and ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment Upgrade Kit are included, adding sophisticated masking tools and automating edge-blending brightness, color, and black-level calibration via camera. Black-level uniformity across blended curved screens is managed with up to 17 control points, achieving seamless joins within a half-pixel margin even at close range.

Two identical signals can be sent simultaneously to HDMI 1 (Primary) and HDMI 2 (Backup). If the primary input fails, the projector switches to the backup in as little as 0.3 seconds without any screen blanking, providing essential continuity during live events. Additionally, multiple laser modules are equipped with Failover Circuitry: if a single diode fails, the circuit continues supplying power to the remaining functional diodes, preventing total module shutdown and minimizing brightness loss — a critical safeguard for high-stakes installations.
