Laser projectors also start up faster, reach full brightness almost instantly, maintain consistent image uniformity over time, and can be switched off directly via the room breaker. PT-MZ882 Series solves a common energy-management problem with its Auto Power On function. Normally, projectors enter sleep mode after an idle period and shut down when the Quick Startup window closes, requiring manual restart. To avoid this, some users disable the timer or leave the projector running with the shutter closed — both wasteful habits. Auto Power On eliminates the dilemma: the projector powers on and resumes playback automatically whenever an input signal is detected, even from a fully powered-down state. Three HDMI™ inputs accept 4K signals and support CEC commands, enabling automatic power-on and playback when a compatible source device — such as the optional PressIT Wireless Presentation System — sends a command. DIGITAL LINK, based on HDBaseT™ technology, transmits video and control signals over a single CAT 5e or higher STP cable for up to 150 m, simplifying cabling in large installations. Native support for 21:9 widescreen signals (1920 x 810) suits conferencing layouts that display remote participants and shared content side by side. A DC OUT terminal (5 V/2 A) powers the optional PressIT receiver directly, keeping the installation clean and cable-free.
