The Digital Zoom Extender now includes a Digital Image Shift function, giving you precise control when ideal placement isn't possible. Ceiling lights, air-conditioning vents, or an unusually high ceiling can all force the projector off-center — Digital Image Shift lets you compensate by moving the projected image up to 10% in any direction via the remote control, so it lands exactly on your screen. Digital Zoom Extender also extends the effective throw distance beyond the optical zoom range, letting you keep the same mount position as a previous projector even if it sits farther from the screen than optimal. Note: resolution decreases when Digital Zoom Extender or Image Shift is active, some screen correction functions are unavailable, corner adjustment range is limited, and image size is reduced to 80% when Image Shift is enabled.

Laser projection eliminates the maintenance cycle that burdens conventional lamp projectors. Both the laser light source and the ECO Filter are rated to approximately 20,000 hours before replacement is needed — a period during which a comparable lamp projector could require up to four lamp changes plus repeated filter maintenance. The ECO Filter can even be washed and reused up to twice, cutting both cost and waste. Brightness ramp-up is controlled and consistent, and color reproduction stays uniform throughout the light source's life, so images remain vivid and accurate session after session. Light output will have decreased to approximately 50% of its original level at the 20,000-hour mark under reference conditions.

Dynamic Contrast analyzes each video frame individually and adjusts light output in real time to match the contrast demands of every scene. Scene-linking technology ensures smooth, natural transitions when the content alternates rapidly between dark and bright sequences — delivering accurate reproduction whether the image contains deep shadows, bright highlights, or both at once. The result is a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio (Full On/Full Off, Dynamic mode with Dynamic Contrast set to 1, per ISO/IEC 21118:2020) that brings out fine shadow detail and makes text sharper and easier to read over long viewing sessions. As a bonus, Dynamic Contrast also reduces energy consumption compared to fixed-output alternatives.
