Rich Color Enhancer is Panasonic's original color optimization technology for 1-Chip DLP™ projectors, offering two selectable modes. Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color for clear visibility in well-lit environments. Standard/Graphic Mode adjusts color-wheel timing to expand red-channel output, producing naturally vibrant, deeply saturated reds. Across both modes, colors are deep, rich, and accurate — faithfully reflecting the content creator's artistic intent.

The PT-FRQ60 plays 240 Hz/1080p video with an input-to-output latency of just 8 ms or less, ensuring fluid motion and instant response in any application where speed matters. The projector also supports Panasonic's optional ET-SWR10 Real-Time Tracking Projection-Mapping System — an SDK that enables projection onto fast-moving objects at up to 240 fps, opening the door to lifelike interactive experiences in museum exhibits and live events.

A versatile 2.0x optical zoom lens expands throw-distance flexibility so you can choose the ideal mounting position without compromise. Wide-range V/H Lens-Shift — Vertical: +71% / -48%, Horizontal: +34% / -27% — lets you position the image precisely even in rooms with high ceilings or off-axis projector placement. Adjustments are made quickly via the front-panel joystick, keeping installation straightforward.

Free Grid simplifies on-site geometric correction without requiring a connected PC. Using only the projector's remote control, installers can correct image distortion caused by uneven surfaces or irregular objects on flat or curved screens. A grid is overlaid on the image — 2×2, 4×4, 8×8, or 16×16 lines — and distorted areas are reshaped by adjusting node or V/H line control-points. Work progress saves automatically, and grid colors are selectable for clear visibility over any content.

Two CEC-compatible HDMI inputs support 4K/60p with HDCP 2.3 protection and allow the projector to power on and off with the source device. DIGITAL LINK transmits uncompressed 4K/60p video, audio, and control signals over a single CAT 5e or higher STP cable up to 50 m. Optional ET-YFB200G DIGITAL LINK Switcher or ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box further simplify cabling and reduce installation costs. A dedicated LAN terminal supports 100Base-TX/10Base-T control signals independently of the DIGITAL LINK connection.

Panasonic's refined heat-pipe cooling system draws heat away from the hermetically sealed optical block, preventing dust ingress in compliance with the industry's toughest dust-proofing standards. Combined with low-degradation laser modules, an inorganic phosphor wheel, and a filterless design, the PT-FRQ60 delivers 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. The instant-on, instant-off laser source requires no warm-up or cool-down period, adding further operational convenience.

Panasonic's free Multi Monitoring & Control Software for Windows PC lets you monitor and control up to 2,048 compatible display devices via LAN from a single interface — enabling status monitoring, control-command execution, content playlist delivery, playback scheduling, and system map visualization. Remote Preview Lite lets technicians verify signal connectivity and preview image adjustments on a laptop even while the projector is in Standby Mode, reducing the risk of display issues before a presentation begins. Data-cloning via LAN can copy configuration settings from a main unit to up to 99 sub-projectors simultaneously.
