Rich Color Enhancer is Panasonic's color optimization technology developed specifically for 1-Chip DLP™ projectors. It offers two selectable modes to suit different environments: Dynamic Mode balances brightness and color for clear visibility in well-lit rooms, while Standard/Graphic Mode fine-tunes color-wheel timing to expand red-channel output, delivering naturally vibrant reds and deeper, more accurate overall color reproduction. The result faithfully reflects the content creator's original artistic intent, whether displaying data, artwork, or video.

The PT-FRQ50 supports smooth 240 Hz/1080p video playback with an input-to-output latency of just 8 ms or less, making it an excellent choice wherever fluid motion and fast response are critical. The projector is also compatible with Panasonic's optional ET-SWR10 Real-Time Tracking Projection-Mapping System — an SDK that enables projection onto fast-moving objects at up to 240 fps, opening the door to lifelike interactive experiences in museum exhibits and live events.

A versatile 2.0x optical zoom lens expands throw-distance flexibility, giving installers more freedom to choose the ideal mounting position. Wide-range vertical and horizontal lens shift (Vertical: +71% / -48%, Horizontal: +34% / -27%) allows precise image positioning even in challenging spaces such as rooms with high ceilings or off-axis projection angles. All adjustments are easily made via the joystick on the front panel, simplifying the installation process without the need for additional tools.

Free Grid simplifies the built-in Geometric Adjustment functions, allowing installers to correct image distortion on flat, curved, or irregular surfaces using only the projector's remote control — no connected PC required. A grid is overlaid on the projected image so the installer can reshape distorted areas by repositioning node or line control points. Grid sizes of 2×2, 4×4, 8×8, or 16×16 are selectable for the required level of granularity, progress is saved automatically, and grid colors are customizable for clear visibility over any image.

Two CEC-compatible HDMI inputs support 4K/60p signals and HDCP 2.3 protection, enabling the projector to power on or off automatically with a connected source device. 4K DIGITAL LINK transmits uncompressed 4K/60p (4:2:0) video, audio, and control commands through a single CAT 5e or higher STP cable over distances of up to 50 m. Optional ET-YFB200G DIGITAL LINK Switcher or ET-YFB100G Digital Interface Box further reduce cabling complexity and installation costs. An optional wireless presentation system lets users share content from almost any device with a single button press.

A refined heat-pipe-based cooling system draws heat away from the hermetically sealed optical block, which is dust-proofed to the industry's strictest guidelines.
