Baseplate Dolly

Move and handle baseplates safely with the Admiral Baseplate dolly. Protective PE holders keep baseplates separated and help prevent surface damage during use. The special designed holders supports a natural lifting position, making daily loading more comfortable. Thanks to the 160 mm heavy-duty castors, the dolly rolls smoothly across rough or uneven ground. Configure the dolly to transport 4 x 10 mm baseplates or 6 x 6 mm or 8 mm baseplates. Baseplates can be placed in the dolly with conical couplers attached, to speed up work on site.

Frame
Choose the right dolly frame to fit your baseplate size. The baseplate dolly is offered in three different frame dimensions: 73 frame: 77 cm length × 59 cm width 80 frame: 84 cm length × 59 cm width 100 frame: 104 cm length × 59 cm width All frames are supplied with pre-made fixing holes for easy castor mounting. Each frame is prepared for an optional flightcase hood, with four cut-outs for butterfly locks.

Baseplate dolly frame 73 incl bolt set
To build a Baseplate dolly that fits the dimensions of your baseplates you have to choose a frame. This frame has the following dimensions: • Length: 77 cm• Width: 59 cmThe frame has pre-drilled holes for mounting the castors and has been made "hood ready" with four cutouts for the butterfly locks of an optional flightcase cover.

Castors set
Finish your baseplate dolly by fitting the right castors. The blue castors are non-marking, making them safe for ballet floors and other soft surfaces. For a fully loaded dolly, we recommend 160 mm castors with brakes. Each castor supports up to 300 kg, ensuring stable and secure transport. Braked castors help keep the dolly firmly in place during loading and unloading.

The Admiral castors are perfect for this job as they don't leave any marks on soft surfaces such as ballet floors. Holders
The PE baseplate holders are designed to make loading baseplates easier and safer. The material prevents surface damage during loading and transport. A built-in guide profile allows the baseplate to be positioned on the dolly in a smooth and controlled manner. The plate only needs to be tilt to a vertical position in the final step, preventing physical strain. Once upright, the baseplate slides into place and remains secure and stable during transport. Three baseplate holder sets are available, each supplied as a pair of holders: • 6 mm holders for 6 baseplates • 8 mm holders for 6 baseplates • 10 mm holders for 4 baseplates

Baseplate holder PE 8mm set of 2
Our PE holders are the key to our ergonomically designed Baseplate dolly. The holders are equipped with a guide profile which allows you to comfortably place the plates onto the dolly, only moving into a vertical position at the last moment. The plates will slide easily into their designated place and when they reach this vertical position, your plates are safely and stably stored.
